Went to an open house to sign DS up for preschool. Can't believe that my baby will be going to preschool next year. Yikes! The time goes by so fast. I was just putting DD on the bus for preschool not that long ago. Now baby boy is going. We probably won't be sending DS to the same preschool that DD went to but a closer one now that all have a tuition. He really wants to go to school with DD but that won't be for another two years. Before long he'll be in school all day, then what will I do. Probably more scrapbooking, painting and such.
Had my first One-Stroke painting class at JoAnn's today. Had two students and it was lots of fun. I enjoy teaching and hope that the ladies that took the class enjoyed it, plus learned something. Next month I'm teaching the basic class plus a baby frame. Should be even more fun. The basic class teaches all the painting strokes to create a cute plaque or some such thing.
DD and I are going to be spending some time this weekend sewing a skirt and blouse for her. Plus we also need to make a backpack like container for some camping equipment. Then we have a bunch of mending to do also. DD keeps telling me that she wants to learn to sew. I think this will give her a pretty good start and keep us busy for a few days.
I picked up some of my favorite Bazzill cardstock today. Marmalade, Green Tea, Applesauce, Key Lime. Yummy colors. Can't wait to finish a few projects that I'm working on and start a couple more. I love the oragne peel textured cardstock that Bazzill puts out. It is my favorite and the colors go with so many of my favorite papers. Who am I kidding? I love all the Bazzill textures and colors. :D
