These weeks are flying by right now. I'm offically 12 weeks pregnant today. Yipee! My OB appointment last week went ok. I did as badly as expected on the 3 hour glucose test but we are going to control it with the GD diet at the moment and stay on the glucophage for the entire pregnancy. I'll possibly end up on insulin just at night towards the end but maybe not. My blood pressure is good, everything else is too.
I was handling the whole job thing pretty well until last Thursday. But Thursday afternoon I hit my breaking point. Now I'm a bit bitter, angry and feeling a bit used & abused to say the least. The whole thing is like a joke to the people I am working for, not the company that I actually work for but the one I am contracted to. I'm just hoping that my parent company can keep me on until at least after the baby comes. Otherwise I don't know what I'll do about health insurance. What a mess.
Took DD to her new pediatrician last Thursday. Love the staff and the doctors so far. Their philosophy on things like breastfeeding and such go along with mine so I feel better. I really didn't want to take a new born to DD's previous ped. We had numerous conflicts with their staff and the dr.s thoughts on various subjects. Really wanted to find a new ped long before the new baby comes along. This one was recommended by my OB and a few friends.
