My kids are growing up, ready or not. DD is off spending the night at a friends house. She packed her little overnight case, even remembered to pack her comb, brush, toothbrush and toothpaste. No prompting either. DS is sleeping after a busy day. And he informed me while getting ready for bed that he thinks Tori (from Victorious on Nick) is VERY pretty. This from my 4 year old little boy. Time is just slipping away.
Worked on some of my "100 Days Challenge" pieces. I've made a bunch of mini sketches but they aren't complete yet. I can't find any of my colors at the moment. Hate it when I "clean up, put away and organize" because it takes me a week to figure out where I ended up putting everything. Can I just say I'm getting to "that age" when I am beginning to wonder about my memory. I think I might have fun with the twinkling H2O's on a few of the pieces. A few might be fun with some stickles and bling. Tonight I've got to add a new mini sketch, thinking it might be a grocery shopping funny.
And more on the grocery shopping thing. I usually don't take the kids with me when I go grocery shopping. It just doesn't work well and takes more time than I usually spend or like to spend in the stores. I did get all of the shopping done this evening, only two stores and the farmer's market to complete it all. Love the harvest season - loads of great produce at great prices. I bought way more than I can possibly use but I'm going to prep it and pop it in the freezer. Love having yummy fruits and veggies ready to go in the freezer.
