Yep, it's been 20 years since I married my loving, wonderful, handsome husband. The years have gone by so fast. I can't believe that it's been that long, or that we are that old. :) We had a special dinner last night, since it was the only night he could get off work. We're planning on going to the beach with the kids this weekend, maybe even a night of camping. Should be a nice time. The kids made cards for us and we made brownies to celebrate. Nothing very romantic but still fun.
Mom is going back to the nursing home today from the hospital. She is happy about that. She is feeling better too. She is eating and drinking much better finally. She is looking forward to having good food again. It will be better and a less stressful now too. I'll have a chance to get caught up with regular life now too. My laundry, dishes, dusting, vacuuming and such have all taken a backseat to mom being in the hospital. The kids can't wait to see her. They have been bugging me to go to the hospital and see her but they can't. So I will probably take them to visit her in the nursing home tomorrow. DS has been anxious about seeing Grandma for a week now and can't wait to see her. DD says that Grandma needs to have her nails done and we're going to have to do it soon.
I've gotten so many mini album plans made since I had so much quiet time while waiting in the hospital. One for DD's T-ball season, one for "Dad-isms", one for wish lists for different things, one for all the fortune cookie sayings I have been saving for years, one for our favorite things, one for my brother's wedding. Lots of plans, now I've just got to get busy. Also have plans for some cute cards based on an ad I saw in a magazine. Hopefully they will turn out as cute as I think they will. And I have a bunch of new photos that I just picked up.
